Chimney: A chimney is a structure for venting hot flue gases or smoke from a boiler, stove, furnace or fireplace to the outside atmosphere. Chimneys are used for the purpose of venting hot gases or smoke from boilers, stove, furnace or fireplace. These are vertical columns, which ensure that hot gases are smoothly supplied out of through them. The empty space inside these chimneys is known as flue.
